…and I’m in Bed by 9

As an addendum to my previous tip on ending eBay listings on Sundays, one more thing I remember from that survey: the best times to end those auctions, according to survey respondents.

Difficult to forget. Why? Because, interestingly enough, respondents were again majorly clear with over 50% voting that 6pm-9pm is the best time range to end an eBay auction.

Coming up close behind it is 9pm-Midnight at 25% of respondents (I told you these figures were easy to remember). Just about 25% of the votes left over to be distributed among the 6 remaining 3-hour blocks in the day plus, if memory serves, a tiny few who said time doesn’t matter. Ignorable remainder data.

Now, I don’t remember what time zone they’re talking about — probably eBay HQ’s Pacific Time — but as far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t matter. I just try to end them around 9pm Eastern (my time zone), give or take.
